Instructions
 

Prepare the Ingredients:

  • Crack the eggs into a mixing bowl.
  • Add the milk or cream.
  • Season with a pinch of salt and pepper.

Beat the Eggs:

  • Use a whisk or fork to beat the eggs and milk together until fully combined and slightly frothy.

Heat the Pan:

  • Heat a non-stick skillet over medium-low heat.
  • Add the butter and let it melt, coating the pan.

Cook the Eggs:

  • Pour the beaten eggs into the skillet.
  • Allow the eggs to sit undisturbed for a few seconds until they start to set around the edges.
  • Using a spatula, gently stir the eggs, pushing them from the edges toward the center.
  • Continue to cook, stirring occasionally, until the eggs are softly scrambled and slightly creamy. Do not overcook.

Serve:

  • Remove the eggs from the heat while they are still slightly runny as they will continue to cook from the residual heat.
  • Transfer to plates and garnish with fresh chives or parsley if desired.
